Discovr Music FAQ

If you search for a band and it doesn't show up please let us know. You can send us the info about the band or artist using the form below. We'll add them for you. Once they have been added it normally takes about 2-4 weeks to fully process a new band so that the recommendations are good. This is because they have to be indexed from all over the web and their music classified.

If you spot some dodgy connections for a band please let us know. Just send us the band name and suggest some better connections using the form below.

Occasionally you may find an artist for which no songs are found. This is either because the Apple data feed is down temporarily, or those songs are not available in your country for that artist. If the issue persists for more than a few minutes please let us know so we can get it fixed.

This is a known issue in version 1.6. It will be fixed in the next release. In the meantime you can clear a map by tapping the icon in the top right of the map screen. This opens the top menu so you can tap the magnifying glass in the top left to search.

We pull all Youtube videos directly from Youtube. If you search Youtube for an artist you will find that the results displayed at Youtube are the same as those displayed in Discovr.

Not right now. It is something that we are looking at, but our focus is on iOS right now.

This message occurs for two reasons:
a) you searched for an app and typed in the name of an app incorrectly (whoops!), or
b) the app isn't recorded in our system yet. If you get this message, please send us the name of the app below so we can check it out.

You can now select different countries for your iTunes Store in Version 1.2 of Discovr Apps. We built this feature for everyone who has asked for it from Brasil, Japan, Korea, South Africa, and everywhere else. To change your store just open the iOS Settings App and look for Discovr Apps. From there you can choose whichever country you need.

Please tell us if you get this message, as it only occurs when an app is no longer available on the App Store. The app may have been pulled down by the developer or been deleted from some other reason. We call these apps Zombie Apps and we want to kill them so they can't get to you anymore. Send us a message below and include the name of the app so we can hunt it down.
