Wooohoo! We’ve just found out that we’ve been included in Billboard Magazine’s list of the 10 Top Music Startups of 2011.
The cover story for this week’s Billboard Magazine is the 10 Top Music Startups of 2011, and we’re very honoured to have made the list.
Antony Bruno and Glenn Peoples from Billboard have put together a list of the best startups that are ‘solving problems of the evolving music market with innovative technologies and creative business models’, and the full story is available in print and online from 19th November 2011.
We feel super lucky to be included on the list, and it is really nice to appear alongside some of our own favorite music companies like Soundtracking, 8tracks, Ex.fm and Turntable. It looks like we’re the only non-US company on the list. Straight out of Perth, Australia. Ha ha!
Last year, the top ten list included startups like Rdio, Songkick, Root Music and Next Big Sound. ROk.
